I have eaten at this establishment quite a few times now and have always had one of the best meals in North America and have not been disappointed. The food never fails to impress me. It is definitely a gourmet meal every time and I will continue to go there. Sam is always so courteous and a wonderful server. I highly recommend the Longview Steakhouse for a wonderful dining experience.
I agree with ALL the 5 star reviews. The steak was unbelievably delicious , the best I have had in Alberta - the steak dinner for two. The Scallops to start was also delicious - a bit of tease because there are only 2 but worth every penny! And dessert was over the top - lemon meringue cheesecake. I can't wait to go back!
The staff works very hard to see that all the guests' needs are met and exceeded. Very warm hospitality on top of a great fine dining experience. The meats are of an exceptional quality and very well prepared. Made to order breakfast is served at the time of the guests'choosing.A wonderful destination for a weekend away. Before and after dinner is great to lounge on the balcony and take in the magnificent views.
Best in the west. Truly an experience not to miss. Outrageously good food. Amazing owners and staff. 5x5 star! I love it!!!
Longview Steakhouse does not disappoint. It was a long wait to get there, as reservations were made months before because of it's popularity. But it was definitely worth the wait. The drive to Longview on a clear evening is in itself beautifully picturesque. And sets the stage for the awesome view of the Rocky Mountains from the restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is exceptional. The cocktails and wine were cold and tasty. The meals of Rib steak, 2 Peppercorn Steaks and the Seafood Pasta were all cooked to perfection. The meals were hot and tasty. The quality ingredients and the care taken to prepare them shone through in every bite. And the bread pudding for desert was insanely delicious. Now the price for such a wonderful experience doesn't come cheap. $48.99 for the Rib Steak, $40.00 each for the Peppercorn Steaks and $35.00 for the Seafood Pasta. Not including drinks, desert and tip. That being said, was it worth it? Absolutely.....
